Sources for Nature unfolds over a two-year period (2026–2028), structured around key project milestones and dedicated moments of exchange.
The initiative combines central project events with site-level implementation across participating entities. The milestones below mark important stages in the collective implementation and review of the IUCN 2025 Recommendations.
The kick-off event marks the official launch of the initiative and brings together participating companies, associations and project partners.
The meeting introduces the project and the implementation framework, aligns expectations, and provides assistance to the participants in the first steps of implementation.
The Interim meeting provides a structured moment for participants to exchange experience from the implementation process.
The session focuses on practical insights emerging from the application of the Recommendations and identifies areas requiring clarification or adjustment as the project progresses.
The final conference concludes the two-year project.
It presents the overall experience of implementing the framework in real-world conditions, highlights lessons learned and explores future actions and collaborations.
The event will be open to a broader audience, including sector stakeholders and interested organisations.
Throughout the project, complementary activities may be organised, including thematic webinars, site visits or expert exchanges supporting the implementation process.
